Class Descriptions
Boot Camp
Interval training, including lifting weights/objects, pushups/sit-ups, plyometrics, and various types of intense explosive routines including exercises using weights and/or body weight. Boot Camp will help participant lose body fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency and increase strength.
Circuit Training
Body conditioning or endurance training or resistance training using high-intensity. It targets strength building or muscular endurance. These workouts get the heart rate up and strengthen muscles at the same time. The circuit is typically 5 or 6 exercise stations where different muscles are activated. For example: 60 seconds of squats or bicep curls.
HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training
Is a form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods. HIIT is the concept where one performs a short burst of high intensity (or max-intensity) exercise followed by a brief low-intensity activity, repeatedly.
Strength & Conditioning
A lightweight workout using weights or resistance bands moved to the beat of the most popular music. Burn calories as you flow through a variety of exercises to sculpt and tone that body. You will experience improvements in your muscle tone, posture, balance and strength.
Yoga
Move through sequences with intention, breath focus, and challenges of the mind's perceptions and assumptions about what you are capable of. You will have the tools at your fingertips of handling stress differently all while building strength and flexibility, on and off the mat.
Nutrition
Providing you with nutritional guidance through one-to-one discussions, food journaling and chats to make positive lifestyle changes.
Life Coaching
A variety of life-coaching activities to help bridge you to mindfulness, empowerment, and action forward moving.
